See what people are saying about the Children’s Museum of South Dakota’s Education and Programming offerings!
The first time my mom signed me up for class I wasn’t sure. As I went to more classes and got familiar with the teachers I wanted to go because they are really fun and I like being with them. They always teach different subjects which makes it fun. There’s always a new challenge and activities that we get to bring home.
My children all participate in as many of the activities at the Children’s Museum as possible because each time they do they are treated with patience and respect by the adults running the programs; are challenged to think critically and encouraged to take strategic risks with design and execution; are provided with amazing resources such as clay pottery wheels, paints and building materials; and always come home feeling proud of their accomplishments.
The Children’s Museum of South Dakotas educational programs have been great for my daughter to explore her passions in art, creativity, science and design in a fun and interactive way. She uses what she has learned at the museum all the time at school and at play. The classes have helped her gain confidence in a number of areas and build relationships with other children and the adults at the museum.
