See what people are saying about the Children’s Museum of South Dakota’s Education and Programming offerings!
Attending classes has given my daughter the opportunity to take an active part in her learning. She can share her knowledge, experience, and opinions with the educator and other children, and it has an impact on the group and direction of discussion or class. This is an incredibly unique experience in the classroom, which gives her confidence in other educational settings.
I think the Children’s Museum classes are fun because you get to use your imagination and create stuff. It is pretty much more fun than school.
My children all participate in as many of the activities at the Children’s Museum as possible because each time they do they are treated with patience and respect by the adults running the programs; are challenged to think critically and encouraged to take strategic risks with design and execution; are provided with amazing resources such as clay pottery wheels, paints and building materials; and always come home feeling proud of their accomplishments.
